International exposure done badly is tourism with a school logo. Done well, it changes how a young person sees their own life: attending classes in another country, staying with a host family, collaborating with peers who grew up entirely differently. St. Peter’s international programmes are built on that second model — connected to learning, carefully supervised, and honest about logistics and cost.
School exchange: the Netherlands
The school’s exchange programme with Stedelijk College Eindhoven has taken students into Dutch classrooms, host-family homes and everyday European life — the kind of immersion no holiday provides. Participation involves preparation, safeguarding checks and clear family responsibilities on both sides.
Collaborative e-journals
Not every passport needs a stamp. Through collaborative e-journal projects, St. Peter’s students have worked with peers in the Netherlands, Finland and across India — researching, writing and publishing together across time zones. It is international education at the cost of curiosity, and it reaches every student, not just those who can travel.
