No page we write can substitute for standing on the grounds at mid-morning — hearing a lesson through an open window, watching students cross between buildings, gauging for yourself whether children here look at ease. Visits are by appointment, so that we can host you properly and current students’ learning, privacy and routines stay undisturbed. Bring your child; bring your hardest questions.
What a visit includes
- A welcome and discussion with the Admissions team.
- An overview of the academic programme and your child’s entry class.
- A guided view of appropriate academic, sports and common facilities.
- A frank explanation of boarding life, dormitory arrangements and parent communication.
- Assessment, fees, documentation and next steps — with real answers, not brochure lines.
- Time for questions about learning support, health, diet or wellbeing.
One boundary we keep, and hope you will respect: access to classrooms, dormitories and student areas depends on the school day and safeguarding requirements. A visit never includes occupied sleeping spaces, and no student is interrupted for promotional purposes. The school you tour is the school your child would actually attend — which is rather the point.
