Wellbeing is not a programme we bolt on after academics; it is the condition that makes academics possible. A child’s ability to concentrate, participate and progress rests on sleep, health, friendship, movement, belonging and the certainty that help is nearby. Our hill campus gives us an unfair advantage here — clean air, open space and daily contact with nature — and we build the rest deliberately.
A whole-school approach
| Area | What we attend to |
|---|---|
| Belonging | A welcoming induction, house and dormitory identity, inclusive activities and trusted relationships from the first week. |
| Emotional support | Accessible adults, counselling routes, early identification of difficulty and clear referral pathways. |
| Physical wellbeing | Adequate sleep, daily sport and movement, health support, balanced nutrition and hydration. |
| Learning wellbeing | Manageable routines, academic support and expectations that stretch without crushing. |
| Digital and social life | Age-appropriate guidance on online conduct, friendship and respect. |
Nature as a daily teacher
There is a reason generations of Indian parents have sent children to Panchgani. Fifty-six acres of hillside change how a childhood feels: walks instead of screens, weather instead of air-conditioning, and the steadying effect of green space that research keeps confirming and grandmothers always knew.
