Admissions

The Admission Process

Transparent steps. Clear expectations. Support at every stage.

1. Enquiry

Start small: the short enquiry form asks only for the student’s name, current class, class required, academic year, current city, and boarding or day-scholar preference. Before requesting a single document, the Admissions team confirms whether the requested class and option are actually open — respecting your time from the first click.

2. Information and discussion

Read the prospectus, academic pages, boarding information, fee documents and policies. Then talk to us. An Admissions representative will discuss your expectations, your child’s current schooling, and any learning, health, dietary or residential needs — not as screening for its own sake, but so we can judge honestly whether we can support your child well.

3. Campus visit

We strongly encourage a visit. Brochures cannot convey the feel of a hillside campus at mid-morning. A visit introduces academics, residential life, student support and facilities — arranged so that current students’ learning and privacy are never disturbed.

4. Application

Submit through the secure portal with the required documents: birth certificate, previous report card or transfer information, photographs, Aadhaar, medical certificate and the admission form. The checklist specifies which documents belong to which stage — application, offer or joining — so nothing is asked for before it is needed.

5. Assessment and interaction

Applicants to Class III and above complete an assessment in English, Mathematics and Hindi — designed to understand readiness and support needs, not to trap anyone. The Principal or an authorised academic leader may also meet the student and parents. (More on the Assessment page.)

6. Review and decision

We weigh the application, assessment, previous record, available places and — importantly — our genuine ability to meet your child’s needs. Decisions are communicated formally: offer, wait-list or regret, each with its reasons handled respectfully.

7. Offer, acceptance and joining

Successful applications receive a formal offer detailing fees, documents and timelines. Acceptance runs through the verified payment and documentation process only — never through informal channels. Then come joining formalities, the belongings list, and orientation: the day your child stops being an applicant and becomes a Peterite.
